Firearms License Examination

Please book your examination appointment in Emmy. As with other exams at our clinic, the appointment will start with a nurse and then continue with a doctor. Remember to bring your ID card and, if needed, glasses or a hearing aid.

The cost of the medical examination is covered by the applicant, according to the current price list.

Conditions Affecting Eligibility

Medical conditions, defects, or states that may exclude or condition eligibility for obtaining and holding a firearms license can be found here.

If necessary to determine the applicant’s eligibility, the assessing physician may require a specialized examination, following Appendix No. 2 to Decree No. 127/1996 Coll. on health eligibility for issuing or renewing a firearms license.

Firearms License Categories
