Our clinic provides the following medical services for registered patients:

 

• Treatment of acute and chronic illnesses

• Issuance of e-prescriptions and e-sick leave certificates, if needed

• Follow-up care for patients with high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, lipid metabolism disorders, thyroid disorders, etc.

• Regular preventive examinations for all age groups

• Preoperative examinations

• Counseling in the field of addiction treatment and support for a healthy lifestyle

• Medical checkups for driver’s licenses, boating licenses, and gun permits

• Other assessment activities (for social security administration, employment offices, sports activities, education, etc.)

• Occupational health checkups for workplaces in risk category 1; recommendation and evaluation for spa treatment in selected cases

• Home visit medical care – within selected areas of Prague 6 (home care, transport, palliative care)

• Regular vaccinations, vaccinations for international travel

• Telephone consultations

• Blood, urine, and other biological sample collections (e.g., throat and rectal swabs)

• The option to test urine on-site with the LauraSmart analyzer

• Antigen tests for various viral infections

• StrepTest (confirmation of streptococcal infection in the throat)

• CRP test from a finger prick – an inflammation marker

• INR test from a finger prick – examination and monitoring of blood coagulation during Warfarin therapy

• Blood glucose testing and glycated hemoglobin (long-term diabetes compensation parameter) directly in the clinic; monitoring of diabetic patients with consultation with a specialist as needed, including OGTT if necessary

• Cardiac enzyme testing for suspected heart failure (PRO BNP) or myocardial infarction (troponin)

• D-Dimer testing (for suspected pulmonary embolism or venous thrombosis)

• Stool test – colorectal cancer screening (FOBT) using modern immunohistochemical methods

• ECG (electrocardiogram)

• Pulse oximetry – blood oxygen saturation measurement

• Blood pressure monitoring with a 24-hour device

• Spirometry

• Sleep disorder screening – sleep apnea and sleep interruptions

• Examination by a physiotherapist, massages (not covered by health insurance)

• Consultation with a psychotherapist in both Czech and English (not covered by health insurance)

We are unable to treat patients who do not speak Czech, Slovak, or English, unless they are accompanied by a translator who is competent to interpret between the patient’s language and Czech.

 

Our services are primarily intended for our registered patients, and we reserve the right not to treat unregistered patients.

 

The healthcare provider, MUDr. Youngová & Co., s.r.o., does not require written informed consent from patients for any healthcare service provided by it, except in cases required by law (e.g., consent for blood testing for HIV), in accordance with §34 of Act No. 372/2011 Coll., on Health Services and Conditions for Their Provision (the Health Services Act), as amended.

 

The healthcare provider, MUDr. Youngová & Co., s.r.o., does not offer any medical services where there is an option for a more economically demanding variant as per §13 of Act No. 48/1997 Coll., on Public Health Insurance and on Amendments and Supplements to Certain Related Laws, as amended.

 

We reserve the right to refuse patient registration in accordance with §48 of Act No. 372/2011 Coll., on Health Services and Conditions for Their Provision, as amended.
